Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers Series How To Watch, Pitching Probables

The Houston Astros are back home at Minute Maid Park and will host their rivals, the Texas Rangers, for the second time in a week starting on Friday.

The Houston Astros are limping back home to prepare for a homestand that starts with the Texas Rangers on Friday at Minute Maid Park.

The Astros (4-10) are now last in the American League West after a horrid start that saw them lose all three games at Kansas City, which came after taking two of four from the Rangers at Globe Life Field the series before.

Along the way, Hunter Brown gave up 11 hits without getting out of the first inning of Thursday’s finale, Spencer Arrighetti gave up seven runs in his Major League debut on Wednesday and the Astros put pitcher Framber Valdez on the 15-day injured list. That made Valdez the fifth Astros starting pitcher on the injured list.

The Astros have one series win so far this season, which came against the Toronto Blue Jays. They split with the Rangers and this weekend gives them a chance to go up against a team they usually play well against. But, the Astros lost all four of their home game to the Texas Rangers in the ALCS last October.

Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, how to watch and listen and more.
