Lineup, how to watch the Atlanta Braves series finale versus the Philadelphia Phillies

Atlanta sends flamethrower Spencer Strider to the mound as they look for a series split with division rival Philadelphia

Safe to say the Atlanta Braves haven't quite had the homestand they wanted. After winning the Seattle Mariners series two games to one, they narrowly avoided a sweep to the Los Angeles Dodgers by getting a walkoff in game three and then lost two out of three to the Philadelphia Phillies (with the only win being on OutKast Night - maybe we need more of that bobblehead, Braves).

But today's a new day, and you've got an advantage on the mound as you send flamethrower Spencer Strider out there to get the dub and secure a series split.

Atlanta Braves Lineup for Sunday, May 28th

Here's how the Braves will line up for the contest:

Atlanta's rolling out the usual suspects in this one, with Marcell Ozuna (who is so hot in May) now in the five hole.

Atlanta Braves vs Philadelphia Phillies pitching matchup for Sunday. May 28th

Starting for the Braves is Spencer Strider. The flamethrower is 4-2 with a 2.97 ERA in his ten starts on the season, with a major league-leading 97 strikeouts (15.1 K/9) in his 57.2 innings pitched. He's faced Philly three times as a starter, collecting the win in all three outings and striking out twenty-nine in those 18.2 innings. Alec Bohm and Kyle Schwarber are the only real Phillies with any success against him, with both having a solo homerun off of Strider.

Opposing Strider is newcomer Dylan Covey. The righthander was acquired off of waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 20th, and appeared in relief against Arizona on May 23rd, pitching five innings with one hit and one run, walking one and striking out six. He's pretty unfamiliar with most of Atlanta's long-time position player core, although Eddie Rosario (1-8, HR, 3 RBI), Marcell Ozuna (1-3, RBI), and Orlando Arcia (1-2) have all gotten hits off of him in the past. Matt Olson is 0-1 lifetime against Covey.
