WATCH: Marcell Ozuna continues to tear the cover off the ball
Marcell Ozuna blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the second inning to tie the game at three runs each.
Ozuna has been a man on a mission in the month of May. He looks like a completely different player than the one that was hitting well under .100 at one point in April. He is now batting .218 with ten home runs and twenty-one RBIs. Ozuna is now tied with Pete Alonso of the Mets for the most home runs in the month of May with 8 each.
Ozuna began the season with seven hits in his first sixty-three at-bats. He now has eight home runs in his last sixty-one at-bats.
Earlier today, our own Noah Griffith did a deep dive into the changes Ozuna has made at the plate. If Ozuna can continue to hit like this, he provides a solid DH option for the Braves to roll out on a regular basis.
