WATCH: Ronald Acuña Jr launches a homerun to cut Atlanta's deficit in half

It was a good pitch from Tigers pitcher Reese Olson, and Ronald just muscled it out of the park

Atlanta's in an early hole in the first game of today's doubleheader, with Detroit tagging Spencer Strider for three longballs to take a 4-0 lead as Atlanta came up in the top of the 3rd.

After Michael Harris II hit a one-out single to get on base, Ronald Acuña Jr got out some frustration on a baseball, and it was a great piece of hitting.

Getting a slider in the inner third of the plate, with his weight shifted back for an elevated pitch, Ronald used brute arm strength to send it out to center at 106.8 mph, traveling 429 feet and cutting the Braves deficit in half.

Strider's back out in the bottom of the 4th, working on limiting the Tigers scoring to four runs as Atlanta looks to sweep both games of the doubleheader to win the series.
