Dodgers Notes: Jake Marisnick to the IL, Clayton Kershaw Injury Update, LA Rising in Power Rankings and More

In this story:
There's a lot going on in LA, and you can catch it all right here!
The Dodger offense overwhelmed the Baltimore Orioles for the second night in a row, winning 10-3 and giving themselves a chance for the sweep on Wednesday morning. That keeps the train rolling for LA, who've won eight of their last nine games and lead the NL West by two games.
On the bad side of things, outfielder Jake Marisnick, who left Tuesday's win, is likely headed to the injured list with a hamstring strain.
In other news, there was a positive update concerning Clayton Kershaw, who threw a bullpen session in Baltimore on Tuesday. Also, the Dodgers recent hot stretch has both propelled them up the division standings and also seen them quickly rise up the MLB power rankings. The Athletic released their latest edition Tuesday, and LA kept moving up. You can read about all that and more down below!

Matt Wagner was born and raised in southern California, and he lived there before moving to Colorado and getting his B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2022. He relocated back to southern California in 2023 and is looking forward to covering the teams that mean so much to his home area. Some of his past work is in Bleacher Report, Dodgers Tailgate, and, most recently, Colorado Buffaloes Wire. Aside from writing, you can probably catch him petting the nearest dog or eating some good Mexican food.
