MLB Pipeline Reveals Guardians’ Preseason Top 30 Prospects For 2024
Earlier this offseason, both Baseball America and The Athletic unveiled their respective top prospects lists for the Cleveland Guardians ahead of the 2024 season.
MLB Pipeline followed suit on Tuesday, revealing its Guardians Top 30 Prospects list before the new season begins.
After Cleveland’s top four prospects were on MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 list, here is a breakdown of prospects ranked five through 30 on the list (most recent level in parentheses).
5. Ralphy Velazquez, C (Arizona Complex League, rookie ball)
The 18-year-old is also the Guardians’ seventh-ranked prospect by The Athletic, and ninth-ranked by Baseball America.
6. Jaison Chourio, OF (Single-A)
The 18-year-old is also Cleveland’s fourth-ranked prospect by The Athletic, and eighth-ranked by Baseball America.
7. Juan Brito, INF (Double-A, currently on 40-man roster)
The 22-year-old is also the Guardians’ fifth-ranked prospect by Baseball America, and sixth-ranked by The Athletic.
8. George Valera, OF (Triple-A, currently on 40-man roster)
The 23-year-old is also Cleveland’s seventh-ranked prospect by Baseball America, and 13th-ranked by The Athletic.
9. Alex Clemmey, LHP (Arizona Complex League, rookie ball)
The 18-year-old is also the Guardians’ eighth-ranked prospect by The Athletic, and 10th-ranked by Baseball America.
10. Angel Martínez, SS (Triple-A, currently on 40-man roster)
The 22-year-old is also Cleveland’s sixth-ranked prospect by Baseball America, and 11th-ranked by The Athletic.

The 24-year-old is also the Guardians’ 11th-ranked prospect by Baseball America, and 18th-ranked by The Athletic.
12. Angel Genao, SS/3B (Single-A)
The 19-year-old is also Cleveland’s 15th-ranked prospect by Baseball America.
13. Welbyn Francisca, SS (Dominican Summer League, rookie ball)
The 17-year-old is also the Guardians’ 12th-ranked prospect by Baseball America, and 16th-ranked by The Athletic.
14. Jackson Humphries, LHP (Single-A)
The 19-year-old is also Cleveland’s 16th-ranked prospect by Baseball America.
