One New York Mets rookie — infielder Ronny Mauricio — was listed among the organization’s 2023 All-Stars, which included five other Top 30 prospects.

MiLB.com put together an All-Star team for each organization, regardless of where they are in the Mets’ system.

Mauricio was the only All-Star to make it to the Majors in 2023, as the Mets called him up and started his service time clock. Selected as a second baseman for the team, he gave the Mets good reason to call him up after he batted .292 with 23 home runs and 71 RBI with Triple-A Syracuse.

He has hit at least 20 home runs in his last three minor-league seasons. He should get every opportunity to remain with the Mets in 2024.

Mauricio was the Mets’ No. 4 prospect and a Top 100 prospect in MLB. He wasn’t the only one named to the team.

Outfielder Drew Gilbert — acquired from the Houston Astros as part of the Justin Verlander trade — was named to the team as their No. 2 prospect and No. 52 MLB prospect. He batted .325 with six home runs and 21 RBI with the Mets’ Double-A affiliate.

No. 3 Mets prospect and No. 78 MLB prospect Jett Williams was named the shortstop after he was named the Mets Hitting Prospect of the Year. He batted .263 with 13 home runs and 55 RBI in a season that ended at Double-A. He walked 104 times, the first player under 20 to do so in the minors since 2005.

No. 5 Mets prospect and No. 89 MLB prospect Kevin Parada was named the catcher after he batted .248 with 14 home runs and 54 RBI in a season that ended at Double-A. He was the Mets’ first-round pick in 2022 and finished the season in the Arizona Fall League.

Two other Mets Top 30 prospects made the team — right-handed starter Tyler Stuart (No. 17, 7-2, 2.20 ERA) and outfielder Nick Morabito (No. 28, .306, two home runs and 25 RBI).

The rest of the All-Star team included first baseman JT Schwartz (.305, four home runs, 51 RBI), third baseman Jose Peroza (.249, 12 home runs, 61 RBI), outfielder Brandon McIlwain (.247, 12 home runs, 70 RBI), left-handed starter Felipe De La Cruz (5-7, 4.36 ERA) and relief pitcher Paul Gervase (402, seven saves, 2.05 ERA).
