Tommy Pham is no longer with the New York Mets, but that didn't stop team owner Steve Cohen from coming to his defense after he got into it with a group of fans on Sunday.

Pham, who is now a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks, was with his team playing the Padres in San Diego over the weekend. While in the on-deck circle, Pham got into a verbal altercation with a group of fans.

In addition to this dust up, Pham also got into another altercation outside the team's hotel.

Pham also took to X, formally known as Twitter, to provide a response about the incident.

Pham, who signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Mets, put together a strong season in Queens, which led to him being traded.

After everything that occurred on Sunday, one Mets fan asked the question of whether Pham was a problem in the clubhouse. This led Cohen to step in to defend Pham.

Although Pham has been involved in some incidents in the past, he was a class act during his time with the Mets.

And the boss, Steve Cohen, backed it up.
