Steve Cohen Defends Tommy Pham After Dust Up With Fans

In this story:
Tommy Pham is no longer with the New York Mets, but that didn't stop team owner Steve Cohen from coming to his defense after he got into it with a group of fans on Sunday.
Pham, who is now a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks, was with his team playing the Padres in San Diego over the weekend. While in the on-deck circle, Pham got into a verbal altercation with a group of fans.

In addition to this dust up, Pham also got into another altercation outside the team's hotel.
On top of his fan altercation in the first inning, Tommy Pham described another outside the team hotel:

Pham also took to X, formally known as Twitter, to provide a response about the incident.
Since this guy wants to block me and act like his friend is a model citizen I’ll put 100k up if he passes a lie detector test saying he didn’t call me a piece of shit if he doesn’t pass which he won’t mlb bans him for life from all stadiums pic.twitter.com/E3PqXJB32z

Pham, who signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Mets, put together a strong season in Queens, which led to him being traded.
After everything that occurred on Sunday, one Mets fan asked the question of whether Pham was a problem in the clubhouse. This led Cohen to step in to defend Pham.
Why are some #Mets fans suggesting that Pham was a clubhouse problem here in Queens? I didn't hear anything to substantiate such a claim. Or is this just more speculation based on past incidents, which really wouldn't be totally fair either.

I will clear up any misperception about Tommy Pham. He was a great guy and a terrific teammate. He played his heart out as a Met

Although Pham has been involved in some incidents in the past, he was a class act during his time with the Mets.
And the boss, Steve Cohen, backed it up.
