Philadelphia Phillies Shockingly Snubbed in First Round of All-Star Voting

In this story:
The Philadelphia Phillies have started playing better as of late, gaining five spots in our recent power rankings.
However, due to their rough start to the season, not many players have truly shined amongst the rest.
Philadelphia's All-Star this season has to be outfielder Nick Castellanos who has dramatically improved from his inaugural year with the Phillies in 2022.
But even then, MLB All-Star voters completely left off a Phillies player for a leading spot on the roster.
The highest-ranked player was Bryce Harper who came in second place in voting for the designated hitter position behind Los Angeles Dodgers slugger J.D. Martinez. Harper generated 380,345 votes.
Philadelphia's most productive player, Castellanos, placed just ninth in outfielders voting leaving him on the outside looking in.
Other Phillies players to generate some votes in the top-10 at each position were third baseman Alec Bohm, first baseman Kody Clemens, shortstop Trea Turner, second baseman Bryson Stott and outfielder Kyle Schwarber.
