In this story:

The Philadelphia Phillies have had a rough go of it their last two games as they have dropped both to the Texas Rangers. In their first two games they have been outscored 27-10 and on Sunday they will look to avoid the series sweep.

There hasn't been much positive to cover. Co-aces Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler both had their 2023 MLB season debuts go awry and the bullpen has been lackluster.

There are some highlights however, and those include the performances of Alec Bohm and new shortstop Trea Turner.

For the second time in as many days the Phillies will be playing on national television, this time on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, the first iteration of the program this season.

First pitch on Sunday is scheduled for 7:08 p.m. ET and Bailey Falter will take the mound for Philadelphia. He will face Martin Perez.

The game will be nationally televised on ESPN, so both the Philadelphia and Dallas-Ft. Worth markets will receive the game.

You can also listen to it on the radio at 94WIP or on the MLB app.
