Watch: Bohm's Massive Home Run Extends Philadelphia Phillies Lead Over Marlins

In this story:
Alec Bohm continues his torrid pace to start the 2023 MLB season. The Philadelphia Phillies third baseman just launched another home run on Monday against the Miami Marlins in the sixth inning to extend the Phillies' lead to 13-0.
His mammoth home run came off of Marlins reliever Devin Smeltzer and travelled 440 feet to the left-center field stands. That home run was of the three-run variety that also scored Nick Castellanos and Kyle Schwarber.
The home run came off the bat at 109.3-mph and had a launch angle of 25 degrees.
It was an absolute moonshot.
Bohm has been an absolute revelation this season as he continues to show that any past problems at the plate very well be behind him. The third baseman has an incredible pedigree and most have seen him destined to be an above-average Major Leaguer.
After his improvement in the second half of the 2022 MLB season and his hot start this year, Bohm very well may be turning the page.
