Philadelphia Phillies Fans React on Social Media to Harper's Return Against Dodgers

In this story:
Bryce Harper's return to the Philadelphia Phillies lineup on Tuesday May 2, 2023 against the Los Angeles Dodgers is borderline miraculous.
Just 160 days prior he underwent Tommy John surgery, and in typical Harper fashion, he returned in record time. Literally, he is the fastest player to ever return to a Major League active roster after Tommy John surgery.
There is a true $330 million man.
Of course, Phillies fans are excited to see their star back at the plate. But there are also some strong opinions on whether it is the right move. Take a look at some of the best (and worst) reactions on social media.
I’m thrilled that Bryce Harper is coming back this soon from Tommy John Surgery. A 5 month recovery for that type of injury is unheard of and the Phillies are only going to get better this season. If Harper could give Joel Embiid the same healing power he got I would do backflips

Wouldn't we all?
Bryce harper had Tommy John surgery November 23rd, and is returning May 2nd, i as well worry if it's too soon...

I am going to go with the doctors on this one and say Harper is probably fine. Philadelphia would never risk re-injury. And Harper himself would never risk re-injuring himself. He cares too much about his team.
Happy Bryce Harper Day everyone

It's exciting to have #3 back in the lineup! Perhaps he will be the jumpstart this team has been after!
