The Philadelphia Phillies will play in the London Series during the 2024 MLB season according to Sports Illustrated. 

The Phillies will take on National League East rivals the New York Mets. This season the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals will meet for a two-game stint there in June. A similar framework could be in the cards for next season. 

The news comes on the heels of the MLB trying to expand its reach internationally to bring more fans into the fold. This season there has already been a series played in Mexico City and the aforementioned London series is on the docket.

Other international venues currently being worked out are in Paris, Japan, and Seoul, South Korea. This is all part of the new collective bargaining agreement signed before last season. 

Most of these series have been a hit with local international communities and diehards alike flocking to them. 

The Phillies getting a game in London should be a great experience for the team and its fans.
