The Reds have a plethora of young and exciting prospects throughout their farm system. One of the more impressive prospects thus far is Cam Collier.

Collier is a 19-year-old prospect that is currently with the Daytona Tortugas, which is Cincinnati's Single-A affiliate.

He posted a .246 batting average, six home runs, 68 RBI, five stolen bases, and a .705 OPS in 390 at bats.

Before being drafted, Collier was on the radar for many teams. During his junior year in high school, he even played in the “Perfect Game Junior Showcase” and was considered a highly rated prospect in the 2023 draft class before opting to reclassify to the 2022 class following receiving his GED.

He opted to play college ball at Chipola College in Florida, where he put up great stats as a freshman. His stats consisted of a .333 batting average with 47 runs batted in and eight home runs. He was even named on the “Golden Spikes Award” watch list.

Collier entered the draft and was selected by the Cincinnati Reds with the No. 18 pick in the 2022 MLB Draft. Collier is a talented third baseman and is one of many young prospects that could end up being a big part of the Reds' future.

Although he has already show his potential, they'll probably take it slow with the former top pick. He could end up playing at every level of the Reds organization, before ultimately being called up to the big leagues.

Collier is a talented player and could make a big impact for the Reds down the road.
