MLB Suspends Aroldis Chapman for Three Games After Rays Incident
Major League Baseball has suspended New York Yankees closer, Aroldis Chapman, for 3 games after an incident vs the Rays on Wednesday. Yankees manager Aaron Boone and Rays manager Kevin Cash were also suspended for 1 game.
In Tuesday nights game Chapman threw a 101 MPH fastball at the head of Michael Brosseau, and the league suspended him three games for it. However, on a recent zoom call with InsideThePinstripes team reporter Max Goodman, Chapman shared that the pitch was not intentional and we’ve seen 4 fastballs this year that suggest Chapman's pitching has been a bit erratic.
Sports Illustrated host Kaitlin O'Toole is joined by Yankees team reporter Max Goodman for insight on his conversation with Chapman and Boone.
