The New York Yankees' lineup could soon be at full strength again.

What needs to happen is for Josh Donaldson, Giancarlo Stanton and Jose Trevino to avoid any setbacks in their rehab from respective hamstring strains.

The expectation is that Trevino will be able to return on Sunday when he is eligible to come off the injured list. If not, he should be back sometime next week at the latest.

As for Donaldson and Stanton, they will require rehab assignments.

Donaldson will begin playing in rehab games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday night.

The plan is for Donaldson to play half a game at third base on Thursday, DH on Friday, rest Saturday and play third again on Sunday. The Yankees will make a decision on Monday whether or not three rehab games is enough for Donaldson before rejoining the major league club.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone indicated that Donaldson could come off the IL on the team's two-city roadtrip next week, which starts in Seattle on Monday and ends in Los Angeles on Sunday.

As for Stanton, he could join Donaldson in Scranton over the weekend, as long as his imaging on Thursday produces positive results.

If Stanton is able to get into rehab games this weekend, he could potentially come off the IL the following weekend when the Yankees are at Dodger Stadium.
