Boxer Victor Ortiz appeared on Tuesday's SI Now and was asked what would happen if UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and World Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather met in the octagon.

Ortiz explained that he believes Mayweather would have no chance in a UFC fight against Rousey, due to the different style of MMA.

“That's a different world [for Mayweather] ... A boxer can't step into an octagon and do boxing things to them. And if it is, it's probably minimal,” said Ortiz.

“To think that Floyd has a chance in a UFC [fight], against Ronda, no. But it's also the other way around, if you put a UFC fighter strictly boxing for 12 rounds, it's different. It's just you can't compare the two sports, I don't think.”

Last week, Rousey dissed Mayweather after she won ESPN's ESPY award for Best Fighter over him, seemingly referencing Mayweather’s numerous domestic violence arrests.

“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” she said.
