The verbal warfare between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ronda Rousey continued as the boxer told reporters on Friday that he does not know much about Rousey but wishes her the best of luck.

“Whoever she is… I wish her nothing but the best,” Mayweather said. “Good luck with everything.”

Mayweather’s response comes just days after Rousey participated in an Ask Me Anything chat on Reddit on Monday and was asked if she could beat Mayweather in a fight without rules.

“Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time,” Rousey replied. “He would definitely beat me in a boxing match. I unfortunately don't get into ‘matches.’ I fight for a living.”

“In a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet,” she concluded. "Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at. But you said ruleless fight, and that’s my honest answer.”

Mayweather had previously fired a shot back at Rousey regarding her income after she wondered how Mayweather “feels being beat by a woman for once” at the ESPYs.

Rousey’s dominance keeps her atop’s pound-for-pound rankings

Mayweather (48-0, 26 KOs) will fight Andre Berto (30-3, 23 KOs) on Sept. 12 in the last in his lucrative six-fight deal with Showtime/CBS.

Rousey is 12-0 after a 34-second knockout over Bethe Correia at UFC 190. Rousey’s next fight has not been determined, but Cris “Cyborg” Justino say she is willing to drop down to 135 pounds to fight Rousey.
