UFC President Dana White Doesn't Think Ronda Rousey Will Fight Again
UFC President Dan White believes that former champion Ronda Rousey will not fight again and that she'll soon retire, he told Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim in an extensive Q&A.
"I think she's going to retire," White says. "She hasn't announced that. She hasn't said that to me, but it's what I believe. She's still going through the USADA testing, all that other shit, though. Listen, I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again."
Rousey has not fought since getting knocked out by Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016. According to the United States Anti-Doping Agency's athlete testing history, Rousey was tested for banned substances on nine occasions in 2016. She has not been tested in 2017.
"It's USADA’s standard practice not to comment on any athlete’s status in the registered testing pool," USADA spokeswoman Danielle Eurich told SI.com in a statement.

Rousey has suffered losses in her last two fights. Before losing to Nunes, she was also knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015. It was the first loss of Rousey's career. Rousey took a break from the Octagon in early 2016 to focus on her entertainment career in films and commercials.
She has yet to make any formal announcement regarding an official retirement from UFC. She recently announced that she will be launching her own personal website.
