SI's Shots from NBA Finals Game 5
Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant scored 30 points to go with six rebounds and five assists in the title-clinching win.
Andrew Bynum
Bynum was effective early in the game. He finished with six points and five rebounds in 16 minutes.
Dwight Howard
Howard wasn't as dominant as he was in earlier games, but he still finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. His 22 playoff double-doubles tied a playoff record.
Rashard Lewis
Lewis finished with 18 points, but struggled while shooting 3-for-12 from three-point range.
Trevor Ariza
In a twist of irony, the Magic traded Ariza to the Lakers in 2007 for Brian Cook and Maurice Evans, and Ariza has proven to be a great fit in L.A. He scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds in Game 5.
Stan Van Gundy
He led the Magic to their first Finals win in Game 3, but Van Gundy's team will be haunted by the near-misses in Games 2 and 4.
Pau Gasol
Gasol flourished in his second season in L.A., making it to his second All-Star Game and earning third-team All-NBA honors. He was even better in the playoffs, where he averaged 18.3 points and 10.8 rebounds. He scored 14 points and grabbed 15 boards in the clincher.
Derek Fisher
The hero of Game 4 chipped in 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting in the clincher. It marks Fisher's fourth career championship.
The Magic
After nearly winning Games 2 and 4, the Magic had little to offer down the stretch in Game 5.
Kobe Bryant
Kobe won his fourth career title ...
Kobe Bryant
... but his first without Shaquille O'Neal.
Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher
Bryant and Fisher enjoyed a moment with the Finals MVP and the Larry O'Brien trophies.
Phil Jackson
Jackson is no stranger to the victory podium. With his 10th title, he passed the late Red Auerbach for the all-time lead.
Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol
Gasol scored 14 points and grabbed 15 boards in the clincher.
The Lakers
This title marks the Lakers' 15th in franchise history, ranking them second all-time behind the Celtics.
