INNSBRUCK, Austria (AP) -- Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria won the third stage of the Four Hills ski jumping tour Friday to overtake Anders Jacobsen of Norway and top the standings.

Schlierenzauer, who won the prestigious competition last year, earned his 44th World Cup win after scoring 253.7 points with jumps of 131.5 and 123 meters.

Kamil Stoch of Poland came second with 240.9 points and Anders Bardal of Norway took third with 235.4.

Ahead of the final stop in Bischofshofen on Sunday, Schlierenzauer holds a 10.7-point lead over Jacobsen, who won the first two stages before finishing seventh Friday.

Schlierenzauer also leads the overall World Cup standings.
