The Houston Rockets will sign center Joey Dorsey to a two-year, $2 million contract, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Dorsey, 30, was drafted by the Blazers in the second-round in 2008 and traded to Rockets on draft day. He last played in the NBA in 2011 with the Toronto Raptors. He has spent time in Turkey, Greece and Spain. He played last season for FC Barcelona

The Rockets have been very active in the offseason. They traded OmerAsik to the New Orleans Pelicans and Jeremy Lin to the Los Angeles Lakers in an attempt to clear cap room for a star free agent, but were spurned by Chris Bosh re-signing with the Miami Heat.

Houston also lost forward Chandler Parsons when they decided not to match the Dallas Mavericks' offer sheet. Houston replaced Parsons with former Rocket Trevor Ariza on a four-year, $32 million contract.
