Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo has been cleared by doctors to return from a facial fracture and is questionable for Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Oladipo, 22, was hit by an elbow during practice last month and needed surgery.
Oladipo, the No. 2 pick in the 2013 draft, averaged 13.8 points, 4.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds last season and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting. He was a member of the USA Basketball Select Team this summer.
He played point guard last season after playing off the ball during his college career at Indiana. The Magic have started rookie Elfrid Payton at point guard and Evan Fournier at shooting guard in Oladipo's absence.
Payton, the No. 10 pick in the draft, is averaging 6.4 points and 6.2 assists while shooting 33.8 percent from the field.
Fournier, acquired in the offseason for Arron Afflalo, is second on the team in scoring at 18.2 points per game.
The Magic have started the season 3-6 and host the Bucks tonight at 7 p.m. ET.
