Report: Antetokounmpo, Oladipo to participate in dunk contest

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo have committed to take part in in the upcoming NBA Slam Dunk contest, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo have committed to take part in in the upcoming NBA Slam Dunk contest, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

The report also says that ​Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine will participate in the competition, which will take place on All-Star Saturday night (Feb. 14) at Barclays Center.

The All-Star game is being held at Madison Square Garden the next day.

Antetokounmpo, otherwise known as the "Greek Freak," has gained widespread renown for his ability to cover ground quickly with long strides, while LaVine, a rookie, is regarded as one of the most explosive leapers in the league.

Oladipo drew national attention when he recorded a 42-inch vertical leap before being selected in the first round of the 2013 draft.
