Chris Paul hit a game-winning runner with one second remaining to lift the Los Angeles Clippers over the San Antonio Spurs, 111–109, in Game 7 of their opening-round playoff series. 

Paul scored a team-high 27 points and dished out six assists to lead Los Angeles and eliminate the reigning NBA champions. Tim Duncan also scored 27 and added 11 rebounds for San Antonio. 

Paul left the game in the second quarter with a left hamstring strain but would later return. He hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to end the third quarter and put Los Angeles up by one.

The Spurs took a 3–2 lead in the series after a 111–107 Game 5 win, but the Clippers won Game 6 102–96 in San Antonio to tie up the series. 

The Clippers now advance to play the Houston Rockets in the conference semifinals. Spurs-Clippers was the only opening round playoff series to go seven games.
