Former NBA basketball player Lamar Odom has been moved to a specialized Los Angeles rehabilitation clinic as he recovers from a life-threatening drug overdose that left him unconscious in October, according to USA Today Sports.

Odom is reportedly progressing well with care from doctors that he may soon begin a new phase of treatment and recuperation.

Odom, 35, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles and in physical therapy. He was rushed into emergency care in wake of a stay at a Nevada brothel that left him unconscious on Oct. 13, where he is also suspected of using cocaine and sexual performance enhancing drugs.

In the days that followed, Odom regained consciousness and his condition improved enough to relocate from Las Vegas to L.A.

Last month, Lamar Odom Jr. shared an update on Instagram where he is pictured with his father and sister Destiny Odom on Christmas.
