Lamar Odom made his first public appearance since recovering from a life-threatening overdose at an event by Kanye West.
Former NBA star Lamar Odom has made his first public appearance since recovering from a life-threatening overdose that left him comatose in October, appearing at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 Fashion Week Show at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
Odom, 35, was hospitalized in Los Angeles and underwent physical therapy after the overdose. Last month, he was moved to a specialized rehabilitation clinic.
Odom was rushed into emergency care after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13. Odom was suspected of using cocaine and sexual performance enhancing drugs at the brothel. In the days that followed, Odom regained consciousness and his condition improved enough to relocate from Las Vegas to L.A.
Odom attended Thursday’s event with his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian. She is the sister of Kim Kardashian, who is married to West.
West will also release his latest studio album on Thursday night.
