The Sacramento Kings will meet with Mark Jackson, Vinny Del Negro and Sam Mitchell as they begin to conduct interviews in their coaching search, according to ESPN.

Jackson has spent three seasons as an NBA head coach, working with the Golden State Warriors from 2011–2014. He posted a 121–109 record before being replaced by Steve Kerr before the 2014–15 season.

Del Negro has made the playoffs in four of his five seasons as a head coach, twice with both the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers.

Mitchell served as the interim coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, being relieved of his duties after the final game. He also coached the Toronto Raptors for 345 games starting in the 2004–05 season, going 156–189 during that time.

The Kings fired coach George Karl after a 33–49 season, during which he clashed with the front office and star center DeMarcus Cousins.
