Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell, the No. 2 pick in last year's NBA draft, hit a game-winning three at the buzzer at Summer League on Saturday night to beat the 76ers 70–69.
Russell, playing with the No. 2 pick in this year's draft, teammate Brandon Ingram, and against No. 1 pick Ben Simmons, led all scorers with 22 points on 8-of-20 shooting. The loudest basket he hit came with time winding down in the fourth.
