Jayson Tatum In a Walking Boot After Celtics' Win, Will Have Tests On Sore Right Ankle Thursday

The Celtics rookie will have tests on his sore right ankle Thursday, according to ESPN.

Jayson Tatum was in a walking boot after Boston's game Wednesday and will have more tests tomorrow on his sore right ankle, according to Chris Forsberg of ESPN.com.

Tatum missed much of the Celtics game against the Lakers with right ankle soreness.

Tatum was taken to the locker room during the second quarter of the game.

The No. 3 pick of the 2017 draft has been a big part of Boston's strong start to the season.

He is shooting 50 percent from the field and averaging 14.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in 31.6 minutes. The former Duke star is also shooting 52.9 percent from three coming into Wednesday.

The Celtics won the game 107-96 to improve to 10-2 with their 10th straight win.
