NBA DFS DraftKings Daily Plays (Tuesday, 10/29)

Corey Parson's NBA DFS DraftKings Daily Plays provides recommendations for the day's slate based on matchup, data & metrics.
NBA DFS: Trae Young 10/28

Tuesday, October 29

There are only three games on the NBA slate tonight after a big 11-game slate last night. The Hawks and Nuggets are respectively on the second night of a back-to-backs, but I'm not letting that scare me away from starting their players.

Here is an early look at some of my favorite potential plays on DraftKings:

Premium Plays

PG Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks ($9,000)

"Ice" Trae Young is second in the NBA in scoring at 32 points per game. He has begun the season on an absolute tear. The second-year standout leads the Hawks into Miami on the second night of back-to-back games after a tough loss to the Sixers last night. The Hawks-Heat game has the highest implied total of the three games tonight. I think the Hawks have a shot to pull off the upset. That all starts with Young.

PF Kristaps Porzingis, Dallas Mavericks ($8,200)

Porzingis does not have the best of matchups tonight but he is fairly priced on Draftkings. The Mavericks travel to Denver to take on a tough Nuggets team in the altitude after a heart-breaking loss due to a controversial call. Look for the Mavs to lean on Porzingis this evening.

PF / C Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers ($10,300)

Davis is the highest-priced player on the Draftkings slate tonight. Davis left the Lakers' previous game early with a shoulder injury. However, he says he is good to go for tonight's matchup. Davis is averaging 25 points and 10 rebounds per game with his new team.

Best of the rest

SF De'Andre Hunter, Atlanta Hawks ($4,700)

Final Four hero DeAndre Hunter has looked good early in this NBA career. He played 30 minutes in the Hawks lost to the Sixers last night. The rookie is a cheap option who can give you over 20-plus DraftKings points fairly easily.

SG Danny Green, Los Angeles Lakers ($4,400)

I think the Lakers have a good chance to run up the score against the rebuilding Grizzlies tonight. LeBron James may not be needed quite as much tonight and the role players could get the job done. Look for Green to put up solid number versus the 25th ranked team against opposing shooting guards.

SG Tyler Herro, Miami Heat ($4,900)

Herro has averaged 14 points per game in the Miami's 2 victories this season. In Herro's last game, he was held in check against the Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back. Even with Jimmy Butler joining the lineup and making his Miami Heat debut, I still like the former Kentucky Wildcat to be a value play on DraftKings.

PF / C Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat ($7,000)

The Heat big man is a stat stuffer that already has a pair of double-doubles on the young season. Tonight versus the Hawks, Adebayo has a favorable matchup versus a Hawks defense that ranks 18th against opposing centers.
