Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss "the next few games" after suffering a torn ligament in his left index finger, coach Steve Kerr announced on Saturday.

Green was ruled out for Golden State's game against the Hornets on Saturday night after injuring his finger in Friday night's loss to the Spurs.

"I couldn't grip the ball the whole entire [game], probably since the second quarter, which is why I was making a lot of one-handed, right-handed passes and dribbling left with my right hand," Green, who had his finger wrapped up, told reporters after Friday's game.

Through five games, Green has averaged 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists this season.

His injury is the latest blow to Golden State's roster after Stephen Curry broke his hand on Wednesday night when colliding with Suns center Aron Baynes. Curry is set to miss at least three months after undergoing surgery.

The Warriors are 1–4 entering Saturday night's game at the Chase Center.
