Welcome to SI Fantasy's NBA DFS daily plays.
There is a four-game slate to wet your DFS hoops appetite. The Clippers and Trail Blazers play in the game with the highest implied total. Miami and Phoenix battle in a matchup of teams off to hot starts. Boston is in Charlotte, and Oklahoma City visits San Antonio.
Let's move forward to tonight's action. Here is an early look at some of my favorite NBA DFS plays on DraftKings, FanDuel and Yahoo:
SF/PF Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers
(DraftKings: $9,600, FanDuel: $10,800, Yahoo: $48)
Load management controversy aside, Kawhi Leonard is rested and ready to go for a marquee matchup vs. the Trail Blazers. The Clippers have the highest implied team total on the slate. After a night off last week, Kawhi came back to score 30 points with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
PG Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers
(DraftKings: $9,100, FanDuel:$10,300, Yahoo: $42)
The Blazers and the Clippers have the highest vegas total on the night at 229. I even see a possibility for overtime, as this will be a hotly contested game. Lillard is the engine that drives the Blazers. Lillard is third in three-pointers made this season, opposing point guards are hitting close to four 3PTs per game vs. the Clippers.
SG/SF Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat
(DraftKings: $7,200, FanDuel: $9,300, Yahoo: $39)
Jimmy Butler may only be averaging 15 points per game to start the season, but he is filling up the stat sheet on a nightly basis. The Heat are 3rd in the league in rebounds and assists per game. A lot of that has to do with Butler's abilities.

PG Chris Paul, Oklahoma City Thunder
(DraftKings: $6,500, FanDuel:$7,300, Yahoo:$27)
This Thunder vs. Spurs matchup should be more of a defensive game, but Chris Paul is in a good spot this evening. The Spurs are giving up a ton of points and assists to opposing point guards. Paul is also very reasonably priced this evening.
PF/C LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs
(DraftKings: $6,900, FanDuel: $8,000, Yahoo: $31)
The Thunder are having issues stopping opposing power forwards, and they are 25th-ranked when it comes to guarding that position. Aldridge will give the Thunder trouble tonight. He has scored over 33 fantasy points in two of his last three games.
C Hassan Whiteside, Portland Trail Blazers
(DraftKings: $6,400, FanDuel:$7,500, Yahoo: $25)
Opposing centers are shooting over 47% from the field vs. the Clippers. They are also grabbing around 15 rebounds per game vs. the Clippers. Whiteside is coming off a 40-point fantasy night and could put up big stats again.
