Here is today's edition of SI Fantasy's NBA DFS daily plays.
We have a nine-game DFS slate to start the week. The Portland-Houston game has the highest implied total. Paul George hosts his former team, Oklahoma City, in Los Angeles. Brooklyn is back home after a long road trip; they play the Pacers at Barclays. Phoenix and Boston play in what should be one of the best games of the night.

One of the best player rivalries resumes tonight when the Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard take on Russell Westbrook and the Rockets. Portland is struggling this season because they are not defending well. They are particularly poor vs. opposing points guards who average 25 points and eight assists per game vs. them.

Giannis is the top play on the slate. He takes on a Bulls defense ranked 30th vs. opposing power forwards. Giannis has scored at least 60 fantasy points in six of his past seven games, including a 71-point performance vs. Chicago just last week.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the Thunder in points and minutes so far this season. The Thunder will need him to fill the stat sheet tonight vs. the Clippers. LA struggles against opposing point guards, giving up over 25 points per contest to the position.
PF Tristan Thompson, Cleveland Cavaliers
DraftKings: $5,600, FanDuel: $7,300, Yahoo: $26
Thompson is quietly having a very nice season. He leads the Cavs in minutes played while also averaging a double-double on the season. The Cavs draw the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Thompson should go for 30-plus fantasy points.

Hill is a good option for salary relief. While Khris Middleton is out, he will pick up more minutes and scoring opportunities at a very appealing price point.
