LeBron Tweets Admiration for Steph Curry After Warriors Stun Bucks in OT

As the Warriors continue to scratch and claw to gain playoff positioning in the Western Conference, the return of star Steph Curry couldn’t have come at a better time.

Curry has been a welcome addition to the starting lineup over the last few games, and Saturday night showed how important he continues to be to the defending champions. Curry scored 22 of his game-high 36 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as Golden State edged Milwaukee, 125–116, at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

After Curry put on another patented scoring performance, LeBron James couldn’t help but admire the effort. James tweeted a chef emoji as an ode to “Chef Curry”, the nickname that players and fans alike have coined for the Warriors star when he has a big game.

With the victory, the Warriors moved to 35–33 on the season, and are now the No. 6 seed in the West. With the loss, the Bucks dropped to 48–19, and now have just a 1.5 game lead over Boston for the No. 1 seed in the East after the Celtics’ victory in Atlanta earlier Saturday night.
