In addition to his in-game shooting prowess, Warriors star Stephen Curry is known for a unique pregame warmup routine that includes shot attempts that would never be tried in a game, shots from the tunnel well beyond the boundary of the court, and of course full-court shot attempts.

A recent full-court shot attempt created a stir Saturday, when he inadvertently hit a team ball boy before the team’s victory against the Bucks.

Curry admitted his mistake after the game and made amends with the ball boy by gifting him a piece of memorabilia. In an Instagram comment, Curry said it was the “best game worn jersey he ever gave away” before writing “my bad Jonathan.”

Here’s video of the full-court shot that struck Jonathan, who was standing underneath the basket at the other end of the floor.

Curry scored 22 of his game-high 36 points in the fourth quarter and overtime Saturday evening as the Warriors picked up a crucial home victory, 125–116, over the East-leading Bucks.

The win moved the Warriors into the No. 6 seed in the West, as they continue their playoff push in a season plagued by injuries.
