Suns Could Feature Best Offense in NBA History, Says ESPN’s Brian Windhorst
The hype surrounding the new Suns' trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal hasn’t cooled off since the team’s blockbuster offseason trade happened. But recent comments from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst detailing just how good he thinks this team can be will only add more fuel to that fire.
Winhdhorst stated that the Suns have "the potential to be the No. 1 offense in the history of the NBA," during a recent segment on ESPN's Get Up.
Although it's a bold statement to make by Windhorst, it's not one that's entirely outlandish. Between Booker (27.8), Durant (26) and Beal (23.2 points), the Suns have a three-headed monster of players who all averaged 23 or more points last season.
Pair that with even more players further down the roster more than capable of scoring as well, such as Jusuf Nurkic, Eric Gordon, Josh Okogie, and even Drew Eubanks, who averaged 14.5 points per game with the Trail Blazers in 2021-22, and the Suns are a group that should score points in bunches.
