Draymond Green's Indefinite Suspension Left NBA Fans in Disbelief

The NBA announced that Warriors forward Draymond Green would be suspended indefinitely after he was ejected from Tuesday night’s game against the Suns after striking Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

The league will meet with Golden State coach Steve Kerr, GM Mike Dunleavy, and Green’s agent Rich Paul on Thursday in order to determine a suitable path forward for the 33-year-old, which is expected to include counseling, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Green was suspended for five games earlier this season, and had played just six games before getting hit with another ban. He’s featured in 15 of the Warriors’ 23 games this year, and will now be unavailable for the foreseeable future.

The indefinite suspension was a shocker for NBA fans, who raced to social media with a mixed bag of reactions to the four-time All-Star’s stern punishment.
