Lakers' D’Angelo Russell Trolled His Haters With Hilarious One-Liner

Los Angeles Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell has been on a two-month heat check, averaging north of 20 points per game in both January and February. His red-hot run has been almost unquestionably the best basketball he’s played in his career, and the 28-year-old guard has no problem letting his critics hear about it.

During a recent conversation on The Backyard Podcast, Russell dropped a one-liner that perfectly summed up his dominance of late while also trolling his haters.

“I got two left feet, I can barely jump and I’m busting y’all favorite players’ a--,” Russell said.

Along with Russell’s averages of 22.7 (January) and 20.2 (February) points per game over the last two months, he’s averaged 21.5 points on 50% shooting in his first two games this month.

Maybe the most impressive aspect of Russell’s play of late has been his outside shooting. He’s knocked down 43.8% of his attempts from three-point range through two months to begin 2024 and has left no reason for anyone to believe he’ll cool off anytime soon.
