Coming off a win over the Orlando Magic, the Philadelphia 76ers continue their road trip with a matchup against the Houston Rockets. This will be the first leg of a back-to-back.

As the action gets closer, updates have been made to the injury report. Forward KJ Martin has been listed as questionable due to an illness. Similar to last game, Joel Embiid and Nic Batum remain out.

This is a big game for Martin, as it's a chance to face off against his former team. After being drafted by the Sacramento Kings in 2020, the Rockets acquired Martin on draft night.

Martin spent the first three years of his career with the Rockets, playing in 206 total games. In his final season with the franchise, he had a career year averaging 12.7 points and 5.5 rebounds.

Over the summer, the Rockets decided to move on from Martin. He was shipped to the LA Clippers in a five-team deal that landed the Rockets Dillon Brooks. The young forward would play in just two games for the Clippers before being traded to Philly as part of the James Harden deal.

Due to the depth the Sixers have at forward, Martin has had many on-court opportunities with his new team. He's averaging just five minutes per game with the Sixers to go along with 1.4 points and 0.8 rebounds.

With Batum being out, Martin might have had a chance to see the court against his former team. However, his status is now up in the air. Martin will likely go through warm-ups before the staff makes a final decision on his availability Friday.
