76ers: Three Takeaways From Win vs. Hawks

In this story:
On Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Atlanta Hawks for their third in-season tournament match of the season, looking to go back to having a winning record after dropping their match against the Indiana Pacers earlier in the week.
From the start, the Sixers came out hot, with Joel Embiid dropping 11 points in the opening quarter, which would account for over a third of their points in the first 12 minutes of the match.
Despite their early lead, Atlanta would charge back as De'Andre Hunter and Jalen Johnson would combine for 11 in the second which would put their team one point shy of Philadelphia at halftime.
In the second half, the Sixers started to pull away from the Hawks, as Embiid continued to add to his scoring total, ending the night with 32 points, while Tyrese Maxey put up a respectable 19 points with eight assists.
With their win on Friday night, Philadelphia now has an in-season tournament record of 2-1, which slots them right under the Pacers, who play their next tournament match on Tuesday.
What were the takeaways?
Tobias Harris' Big Night
One of the more consistent players for the Sixers this season has been Tobias Harris, as the veteran came into the match putting up 20 points per game as well as seven rebounds.
Friday night was more than an example of Harris' consistency as he scored a season-high 29 points, while also grabbing ten boards for the Sixers, which earned him his second double-double of the season.
Harris' efficiency from the field can not be understated, as the 31-year-old shot with 60-percent accuracy from both the field and three point territory.
Atlanta's Bench Goes Off
While his starters weren't doing all that bad, with four of the five posting double digit scoring numbers, Quin Snyder got an additional offensive boost from his bench.
Atlanta's bench would combine for 37 points against Philadelphia, which included the 17 points from Saddiq Bey, and the 13 points from Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Their contributions on the offensive end of the court would make up for the absence of De'Andre Hunter, who was ejected in the beginning of the third quarter.
Danuel House Jr's Offensive Showing
When people think of Danuel House Jr., they may not think of his offense, with the seven year veteran posting a career average of seven points per game.
Yet, against Atlanta, House Jr. went off scoring a season-high 14 points on 62 percent shooting from the field, outscoring starter Robert Covington, who put up six points.
For reference, his scoring display on Friday night, is his third highest scoring game while wearing a Sixers uniform.
