On Monday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take on the Portland Trailblazers, looking to bounce back off of a loss against the Denver Nuggets, as well as pulling off a season series sweep against Portland, having beat them in their first meeting back in October.

The Sixers' match against the Nuggets' was close considering that Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and Tyrese Maxey all sat out of the contest, as their bench managed to stay right on the tails of the reigning NBA champions.

Paul Reed led the way for Philadelphia, scoring a career-high 30 points against the Nuggets, while also managing to be a presence on the board, recording 13 rebounds.

Kelly Oubre Jr was another source of offensive inspiration on Saturday night, scoring 25 points on 52 percent shooting, while also blocking two shots.

Yet, both of these efforts wouldn't be enough to drop the Nuggets trio, as Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon combined for 69 points, which would help nail the door shut on the Sixers.

Just as Philadelphia went into the match without a few players, the same could be said for Chauncey Billups and the Trail Blazers, who could be without Malcolm Brogden, among other players.

Brogdon has been downgraded for Monday night's match due to a contusion in his right knee, which nearly kept him out of a match against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night.

The former Celtic has had a strong start in Portland, mixing into their starting lineup at different points, averaging 15.7 points on 43% shooting, while also dishing out five assists per game.

While Brogdon's playing status remains uncertain, the same can't be said for Moses Brown, Shaedon Sharpe, and Robert Williams III, who will all miss Monday night's match.

Brown will be out to due a fracture in his left wrist which he suffered in a match against the Phoenix Suns earlier in the month.

Sharpe will sit out due to a lower abdominal strain, missing his tenth straight match, as the second-year guard hasn't played since mid-January.

Williams III, another former Celtic, will continue to be sidelined due to a torn ligament in his right knee, which he suffered back in early November.

The Sixers will take on the Trail Blazers on Monday night, with tip-off set for 10:00 p.m. EST.
