The Milwaukee Bucks select Bogoljub Markovic with the No. 47 pick of the 2025 NBA Draft.

The 19-year-old, from Serbia, stands at 6-foot-11 and is a three-time Junior ABA League champion.

Markovic will turn 20m in less than a month and is coming off a solid season with the Mega Basket in Serbia. He averaged 14 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He shot 54 percent overall, including a 38 percent mark from behind the 3-point line. He also attempted 4.2 free throws per game.

After the draft, Bucks assistant general manager Milt Newton revealed what he loves about Markovic.

"A player that really has nice size, athletic, can shoot the ball," Newton said. "Really good basketball IQ, good feel for the game. As the round went on, we actually were crossing our fingers, but also trying to see if we could move up, just in case, just to give ourselves a better opportunity to select him. For the first time ever, no picks were sold. We tried, but at the end of the day, we got him where we drafted, so we're pretty excited about that."

Although he was the Bucks' only pick in the draft, his future with the team is uncertain. The Summer League will tell us whether he will be rostered this upcoming season or if he will head back to Serbia.
