One of those who excitedly grabbed a new pair of Giannis’ shoes was Damian Lillard.

“Hey man, I appreciate it. I really appreciate this,” Lillard exclaimed in a video that was posted on Giannis’ social media accounts.

In return, Giannis made it known that he is also expecting to get a pair of Lillard’s signature kicks.

“Make sure you give me one of yours, too,” said Antetokounmpo.

“I got you, man. I need mine signed. Your good signature,” Lillard responded.

Giannis proceeded to the offices of the facility and distributed more shoes to the delight of the staff. Gifting his teammates with shoes has become an annual tradition for the two-time MVP.

Spreading good vibes before the battle

Giannis’ act of generosity is a welcome sight as the Bucks gear up for the upcoming season, which will kick off on October 24th. Milwaukee will have its season debut on October 26th against fellow East giant Philadelphia Sixers.

The Bucks will enter the new season with not just a revamped roster but also with a new-look coaching staff. Calling the shots for the Bucks is Adrian Griffin, who replaced the dismissed Mike Budenholzer.

Jrue Holiday is the most notable player who is no longer with the Bucks. In losing Holiday, the Bucks got seven-time All-Star Damian Lillard in a three-team deal that involved the Phoenix Suns.

Key returnees for the Bucks are Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, while the new faces who are expected to give Milwaukee a big boost are Malik Beasley and Cameron Payne.
