“There’s no time off for you!” - Giannis Antetokounmpo on Jrue Holiday making the All-Star game

In this story:
For Giannis Antetokounmpo, there was no doubt in his mind that his Milwaukee Bucks teammate Jrue Holiday would be an All-Star this year.
And true enough, Jrue Holiday was named to the Eastern Conference All-Star reserves, giving the Bucks two representatives in the much-anticipated event in Salt Lake City.

No rest for the point guard
As odd as it may sound, Antetokounmpo disclosed that Holiday was not keen on strutting his wares in the gathering of the league's brightest stars.
"I had a conversation with him. He was saying that he'd rather just take some time off. I'm like, "nope. I'll see you in Utah my friend. You're gonna be right there with me grinding", said Antetokounmpo.
Antetokounmpo told Holiday that taking a break was not an option.
"You know, "There's no time off for you. Everybody can go to tropical islands and soak their feet in the ocean. We're going to be right there in Utah"," Antetokounmpo said.
For Giannis, Holiday deserves a spot in the All-Star Game, noting how the 6-foot-5 guard has been playing well for the Bucks this season. Halfway through the season, Holiday is averaging 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 7.1 assists, helping the Bucks to a 36-17 start.

Well deserved
The Bucks are at the top spot in the Central Division and are just one game behind the Eastern Conference leaders Boston Celtics.
"I knew that Jrue's going to be an All-Star this year. I believed it," said Antetokounmpo, who was named captain of the East All-Star.
Giannis is set for his seventh All-Star Game, while Jrue is appearing in the All-Star Game for the second time. It will be the first time that two Milwaukee stalwarts will be playing together in the much-awaited extravaganza.
Antetokounmpo is extremely excited to play alongside Holiday in the All-Star Game.
"So I'm very happy for him. I'm excited to have….you know..be a part of this journey with him for the first time. I hope we both can do a great job to represent our families, now the organization and the city of Milwaukee," the two-time MVP said.
