Indiana Pacers at Chicago Bulls (7:00 CT) – Prediction, Lineups, Injury Report

In this story:
The Chicago Bulls have a chance to reach a new low on Wednesday night.
If the team can't manage to pick up a win over the Pacers on their home court, they will have officially been swept by their central division rival. While this wouldn't have come as a surprise in recent years, the 2025-26 campaign has seen Indiana ride the tank train harder than almost any team this season. They currently hold a 17-58 record, which is tied with the Washington Wizards for the worst in basketball.
To be sure, losing might as well be in the Bulls' best interest. They continue to be in a stiff "race" with the Milwaukee Bucks for the 9th-best lottery odds. Thanks to a 123-99 win for the Bucks on Tuesday, Chicago now sits a full game ahead for the higher shot at moving up the draft board. Picking up another loss tonight would only increase that cushion with six games left on the schedule.
For what it's worth, the Pacers' offense has been humming in recent games. They have scored 128+ points in three of their last four outings. This even included an impressive 135-118 win over the Miami Heat this week. Will this remain the case with so many key players on the injury report tonight? We'll see.
All that might matter is that Pascal Siakam is expected to take the floor, and he's played some phenomenal basketball this season. The lengthy forward has been known to give Chicago serious problems in the past, and he's the kind of savvy veteran who consistently makes those around him better, even if they're two-way guys.
Prediction: Nevertheless, Billy Donovan hates the tanking. The Pacers are also sitting basically every one of their perimeter scorers. Bulls win and hurt their lottery odds!

Injury Report

The Chicago Bulls downgraded Josh Giddey to questionable in the lead-up to game time due to hamstring tightness. Sitting him may be in their best interest, as he's dealt with this exact issue multiple times over the last few months.
As for the big men, both Guerschon Yabusele and Nick Richards remain listed as questionable. Yabusele at least suited up for the Bulls' last meeting with the Spurs, so it may be a tad more likely that he sees the floor again this evening.
