Coby White is not letting his sore wrist be the reason for his poor shooting of late

In this story:
Coby White had a fantastic showing in December, helping the Chicago Bulls rise the Eastern Conference ladder while All-Star Zach LaVine was away with a foot injury. However, the former Tar Heel has struggled with his shot lately, going 2-of-14 from beyond the arc in his last three games.
Unbeknownst to many, White has been dealing with a sore right wrist, which he keeps taped up in every game. The fast-rising star, though, isn’t making any excuses for his poor shooting as of late. He’s using it as motivation to work even harder.
No excuses
Now in his fifth year in the NBA, White is entering vet status, but he’s still learning and growing as a player. One thing that he’s learned is everybody in the NBA is dealing with some nicks and bruises, but how you handle them separates the good players from the great ones.
“I just try not to make excuses. I’m not the only one in the league that’s dealing with something. Everybody on our team is dealing with something. So for me, it’s just to go out there and hoop,” White shared.
White also credits the team’s trainer, Arnie Lee, for helping him prepare his body for every game.
“I’ve got to give a shoutout to Arnie Lee, our trainer. He does a good job of getting me ready to play with everything. And we always have a plan of attack after the games. A lot of times after the games, I go to him and we form a plan of attack before the next game for me to feel the best that I can.”

Keep pushing
The Bulls are entering the second half of the season, and as impressive as White has been, averaging 18.5 points and 4.9 assists per game, he knows there is always room for improvement and growth. With an outright spot in the NBA Playoffs within reach, White is determined to push himself and his team even further.
“I just want to continue to get better, man. Overall, just continue to get better and hopefully make a push this last half of the season and continue to build on how we’ve been playing the last month or two,” White added.
