Shams says that Nikola Vucevic will be out for the next 7-10 days due to groin issues

In this story:
The Chicago Bulls have to brace another absence from one of their important players. As according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Vucevic is expected to get sidelined for approximately 7-10 days as he continues his strained left groin recovery.
Expected timetable for Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic with groin strain: At least next 7 to 10 days, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Bulls have won nine of 13 games, including Tuesday minus Vucevic, who has averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists over his last 10. pic.twitter.com/8k2z1wX2N6

When did Vooch get injured?
Vooch sustained the said injury back on Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers in which Max Strus made a nasty contact in his groin upon a dunk finish.
Vucevic ultimately missed the Bulls’ 118-112 Tuesday dub over the Atlanta Hawks. This marked the first time that he went inactive for the team since the regular season finale of the 2021-22 campaign.

Andre to the rescue
This latest injury around Vooch couldn't be more critical for Chicago, considering that both Zach LaVine (toe) and Torrey Craig (foot) are already out for a significant time until next month. The Montenegrin star has been a reliable force down low with his 16.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists and provided a tremendous help in the team's 8-4 win-loss stretch before the previous Hawks matchup.
But given what Andre Drummond displayed against Atlanta, the Bulls can at least take a sigh of relief from Vucevic’s absence. The former star big man turned back the hands of time by feasting for 24 points and 25 boards to banner the team's gritty victory in the United Center.

For now, the Bulls have no choice but to hope for the best in Nikola's recovery and continue maintaining that strong hold on their ongoing best-season stretch.
