Zach LaVine airs "frustrated" thoughts in Bulls' blunderous collapse against the Nets

In this story:
Things were already clicking for the Chicago Bulls as they managed to build a commanding 21-point margin to start the game against the Brooklyn Nets. But like what it's been to their lopsided season, they continued to find ways to lose and allow another game to slip away in a painful fashion.
From being at point initially at both ends of the floor, the Bulls suddenly allowed the Nets to drop a barrage of threes – a league's best 25 treys – to put themselves in trouble. And as the final buzzer horned, with the latest defeat obtained on Sunday night, Chicago crashed to its fourth-straight defeat.
A 5-13 record that puts them pinned to the 13th place in the now competitive East just screams nothing but urgency to this Bulls team that is supposed to be in the mix of several other contending squads atop the Conference.
"Frustrating" as hell
Zach LaVine wasn't able to bottle up his distressed thoughts about the Bulls’ blunderous failure to capitalize on their early momentum and eventually slay the Brooklyn Nets on the road.
In fact, he isn't “surprised” with how the season has unfolded for his team so far.
LaVine is even more “frustrated” about the mishaps that led them to be at the lowest point of their 2023-24 campaign thus far. Now, the pressure continues to spill, and their horror standing demands even more reputable outputs on a nightly basis.
“Surprised? Nah, I think it's just frustrated,” he said in postgame after dropping 20 points and six boards on a losing effort. “Nobody wants to he 5-14 like you've said or lose in a multiple games in a row. It doesn't feel good. It didn't look and it didn't feel like we'd be at this point right now. But that's our reality so we got to figure out a way to get out of that hole.”

Still in high spirits
In the end, LaVine can only cling to his hopes that they'll be able to overcome the team's current chaotic start.
The All-Star guard holds optimism that their frustrations will finally reach the ending point as they aim to continue collaborating and seek accountability for their depressing so far this year.
"Guys are professional here. We have high spirits. Obviously everybody is frustrated because we’re losing. But we support each other. We’re in the gym working every day, encouraging one another, trying to keep spirits high. You just have to get through it," LaVine said. "Nobody is going to help us do it. We understand that.
