Zach LaVine still sees hope in Bulls' hellish 2023-24 campaign: "Got a lot of season left"

In this story:
All of the Chicago Bulls fans can't even be more depressed with regard to their beloved team's standing and position so far this season. Upon the manhandling that was delivered by the Boston Celtics this Tuesday’s In-Season group play ender, the Bulls were sent crashing again for their fifth-straight defeat en route to a lowly 5-14 record.
As their struggles continue to get worse, the hopes of a season emergence start to be doubted. Amid the pure negativity and melancholy that constricts the franchise, Zach LaVine refuses to call it quits as he still sees a little light out of the darkness.
Keep pounding
Zach LaVine played poorly against the Celtics, dropping an uncharacteristically two points in 25 minutes of play before taking a premature leave because of a sore right foot.

Regardless of what the outside noise continues to shout about their direction and the amount of trade pressure that he receives from various league circles, LaVine still trusts the process to save their season.
"You go out there and play, man," LaVine said. "You got a lot of season left. You don't play the scoreboard. You look at the standings, obviously. But you try to win every game you step into and that's what we're going to try to do.”
Now’s the time
The 19 regular season games are already over, but can the 63 left help the Bulls create a dramatic rebirth for themselves and eventually rise from the ashes?
As tallied by Tankathon, the Bulls sit at the 12th spot in the hardest schedule left throughout the league this 2023-24 season. In their next five games, they are about to face title heavyweights like the Milwaukee Bucks (twice) and the Denver Nuggets.
It all now boils down once again to the Bulls’ desire to get themselves back on track and meet the competitive expectations that were set by themselves and many others. If nothing changes, a massive change is truly imminent as soon as possible.
Report says the Chicago Bulls should have traded Zach LaVine in the offseason
